I am Farinaz

On Thursday May 7, demonstration of the youth and angry people of Mahabad in front of Hotel Tara led to widespread clashes with the regime suppressive forces in which two people were killed,50 people were injured and at least 30 people were arrested.

 

 They were protesting against the killing of Farinaz Khosravani, a 26 years old girl of the staff of Hotel Tara which took place on May 4 in confronting the assault of an intelligence agent of the clerical regime and to escape from him. She had to jump from the fourth floor of the hotel, and died instantly. Farinaz Khosravani, a computer graduate, was supporting her family by employment in this hotel.

During the clashes, protesters set regimes affiliated signs and a number of government vehicles and motorcycles on fire. In clashes between people and suppressive forces, parts of Hotel Tara that is said to be in contact with the Ministry of |Intelligence, was set on fire.

 

The Iranian Resistance's President-elect Maryam Rajavi hailed the courageous people of Mahabad who staged an angry protest against the death of a young woman in their city and gave a big lesson to the clerical regime and its intelligence agents.

She lauded the residents of Mahabad for their act of protest and called on the Iranian public and youth to rise up in support.

 

 

Maryam Rajavi hailed the martyrs of Kurdistan and wished recovery for those wounded in this demonstration and asked the populace to rush to their aid.
